You have to see this selfing of F R Cherry

Look at the Photo Album on this site to see what happened when I selfed Fleischle Roulette Cherry. I wanted to show that selfing a hybrid, let me repeat ** hybrid strep ** will not get plants identical to the parent. Selfing a species will get you a plant identical to the mother unless it mutates.

Both seedlings are not an improvement and need to decorate the compost!

Comments!??

I do want to clarify that there are some sinningia hybrids, 'Super Orange' and 'Isabelle' being two of them, that are documented to come true from seed because the hybridizer inbred for many generations in order to create them. If there are strep hybrids documented by the hybridizer to come true from seeds, please enlighten me as to the hybrid and the hybridizer.
