New cross - Torgny

Postby Disa » Wed Nov 26, 2008 11:09 pm

I just wanted to post a picture of one of my crosses that I will register. I am not sure that it is THAT special, but I will name it after my father that passed away earlier this fall. He really liked this cross and I will name it 'Torgny' after him. He never really understood my passion for streps, but he tried to look interested...! But THIS one he really liked for some reason, and he commented it several times.
It's a cross between Emily x Bristol's Phaser Blast.
It's been flowering like crazy all summer so I think it's a good hybrid.

Please tell me what you think of it.

That is a very nice colour! A keeper for sure. Is it just that particular bloom or do the flowers have little points on the lower lobe?

Disa,

This one is a beauty, I like the black touches in the lower petal, and the spotting in the throat.

Disa you certainly are turning out some lovely hybrids.
